The Bella Ciao collection is dedicated to the mondine , seasonal workers who came to work in the rice fields of Piedmont from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century to pull out weeds and prick the rice. For nearly a century, thousands of Italian women spent several months of the year hunched over doing difficult, intense, and poorly paid work.

Their famous pre-feminist and pre-revolutionary songs inspired masterpieces of Italian neorealist cinema, and their demands transformed the Italian historical landscape.

Bright shades, wild flowers and the insolence of angry youth: the Bella Ciao collection is designed to be colorful, and pays tribute to several generations of women who fought for their rights.
